Thredbos Event-full Summer
Thredbo summers are always event-full and not just jam packed with those Bikes, Hikes and amazing Alpine Adventures. There is also Thredbos Summer Events Calender to call you to those green rolling hills, blue skies and Alpine daisies; this summer.
The Thredbo Mountain Bike Season begins 19th November which also will see the opening of the villages many restaurants, shops and cafes in readiness for the village to be buzzing. Then we have the Kids Summer Adventure Festival kicking off from 23rd December – 15th January to keep the kids busy during their holidays in our big Mountain backyard.
If Christmas in the mountains is more your thing then Thredbo has lots of options over the Christmas and New Years Eve period. Please check out the Thredbo website for more information but we recommend the Thredbo Christmas Eve carols on the 24th to get you in the mood.
Onn the music calendar Through January are the Thredbo Music Series: with 3 specia performances on the 1st,7th and the 14th of January with the Got Soul Collective, INXS tribute band and the amazing Ash Grunwald.
Rounding out Janaury is Thredbo’s biggest music event, The Thredbo Blues Festival with the sounds of the sweet blues echoing around the valley. Thredbo Blues is one not to be missed if you love soul sounds teamed with great food & drinks.
Speaking of Food..We have a foodie event this summer called The Taste of The Snowies from 3rd – 5th Feb, if you love food & wine then make sure you check this one out.
If eating isn’t your thing but being healthy is we have Thredbo’s fun and fitness week from 7-14th January so grab your Lululemon tights & water bottle to join us in breathing in the fresh mountain air whilst exercising.
